Plot:On a desserted island, in the middle of nowhere, a ship lands. They find a beach and nothing else. An undiscovered island? As far as the countries were concerned, yes, it was undiscovered. Wrong.
Searches of the island were discontinued. Parties of 20 would go missing, vanished, without a trace. Nothing was left. Finally, they made a border; a tall fence with barbed wirea at the top that went all the way down to the beach. There were no gates to go through. Whatever was out there was too dangerous to be allowed in. After the fence was put up (there was a total of 100 thousand acres that were allowed to them) people started building a city and farmland on the outskirts. Because the island was in the middle of nowhere, smack between the equador and Antartica, there were plenty of sunny days for solar. Everything that would use normal electicity is now used by solar panels. If there isn't enough sun, there isn't electric.
Most of the time, there was a lot of leftover and stored energy, so there was no need to panic. There was hardly ever any blackouts. On top of that, there aren't many cars or vehicles. It's a basic natural place with minimal pollution.
There is a beach; it's small because there are rocks that sometimes submerge, so it's dangerous. There are farms, farmhouses, apartments, and other living places. Humans moving to this island are completely oblivious to what's behind the fence. There are shapeshifters amongst them, hiding and looking like humans.
Behind the fence, though, lives a much worse place. It is not calm or peaceful; it's a fight for survival. The 'Natives' as they call themselves, have allowed the 'Newcomers to inhabit the land they hadn't needed. IN return, they would steal from farms and animals occasionally, but not enough to be noticed. They had ways through the fences; their athletic abilities were not to be underestimated.
The Natives got along with the wolves of the lands, feeding them the leftovers they didn't eat. It was their way of saying thanks for hunting on the wolf lands. The Natives have spent their entire lives running and studying with the wolves. They know how to be quiet and stealthy, but they've also learned to clean up the messes they make and make it so no one suspects there are other people on the island.
Then there are the shapeshifters; they have the least amount of land, unless they evolve to Necomer standards. These are the ones hated by both the Natives and the Wolves.
But there is another species that co-exist and hide themselves in the humans. Vampires, prettier than the humans, know about the Natives, the shapeshifters. They keep to themselves, mostly, but if they tried entering Native lands, they would be torn apart. That is, if they hadn't come with an invitation.
Tell me, what would happen if the fence separting these groups would be torn down. What would happen if these people wandered upon the other territories and mingled? Utter chaos. The fence is in tact, for the moment, but say if it was...gone someday. What would you do? How would you survive?
